The Philadelphia Union look to extend an unbeaten streak to seven games when they host the Portland Timbers Saturday night at Talen Energy Stadium.
The Union (7-3-3) remain atop the Eastern Conference after a 0-0 draw against the Seattle Sounders in Week 12. Andre Blake returned from injury to make one save, while Stefan Frei did well to deny Haris Medunjanin a quality scoring chance in the second half.
Brian Fernandez made the most of his MLS debut, coming off the bench to net the late equalizer as the Timbers (3-6-2) earned a 1-1 draw with the Houston Dynamo at BBVA Compass Stadium last Wednesday.
