The first two weekends of the 2018 MLS season have featured teenage goalscorers, both a mere 17 years of age, opening their league accounts in record time.
First Vancouver Whitecaps and Canadian national team phenom Alphonso Davies netted the game-winner vs. Montreal in Week 1, and then on Saturday Homegrown rookie Ben Mines opened the scoring for the New York Red Bulls in their 4-0 rout of the Portland Timbers.
